Our client is currently recruiting for a Resource Planner to join the business due to expansion.

This role will be based at their European Distribution Centre (EDC) in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, and is a key role in supporting the Operational Management Team with information on labour tracking which is necessary to ensure we hit our Key Performance Indicators. You'll become an expert on the Labour Tracking system and be able to produce a variety of reports and statistics to support this on a daily and weekly basis.

The European Distribution Centre distributes products to stores across Europe and also distributes products from website orders to Customers across the UK, France and Germany.

Close to the M1 and M6 motorways, the EDC is easy to access and offers free parking and is commutable from the following areas: Rugby, High Cross, Bedworth, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Wigston and Kilsby

This role will involve:

  • Creating, maintaining and producing relevant & regular statistics using the Labour Tracking system to monitor and report against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Produce and distribute weekly absence data
  • Produce and distribute Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) packs to Management
  • Providing ad-hoc reports
  • Running daily distribution
  • Booking of agency staff
  • Site access control

Competencies required:

  • High degree of flexibility to include weekend/shift/bank holiday working (sometimes at short notice)
  • Attention to detail whilst working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • PC literate with sound understanding of WMS, Excel, Crown
  • Self motivated with ability to use own initiative for decision making
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work on own initiative to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and impartiality at all times
  • Ability to follow process and procedure

This is an hourly paid, office based role (overtime incurred for approved, additional hours worked, will be paid at the relevant rate of pay), currently reporting to the Manager of Warehouse Operations. Hours of work will be 6.30am - 3pm with flexibility to change shifts/weekend & Bank holiday working as detailed above.
