Step 1.
I motivate the team by creating a positive, friendly but professional working environment and always lead by example to show that approach

Step 2.
The way I achieve that is to ensure every member of the team has an individual development and training plan and give each team member the opportunity to take extra responsibility and learn about a new aspect of the role. I hold team meetings every morning where we talk about the day’s target, yesterday’s results and to generally pep them up. I also offer little incentives based around mini competitions to keep work fun but very focused on results.

Step 3.
In my current role, we have been the top team for converting customers for the past 12 weeks and this has been down to an ongoing incentive based involving the top sales person each day having an extra 30 minutes lunch break and a packet of Haribo!
